Obituary For Tristin L. Irwin

Tristin L. Irwin, 28, Patton, passed away May 21, 2023 at home. He was born April 17, 1995 in Fairbanks, Alaska, the son Jason L. and Paula R. He was preceded in death by his biological father. He was raised by his Mother and Father Christine Irwin and Jerry Brant. He is survived by his mother, Christine; father, Jerry; half-sister, Brooke and half-brother, Brad. He was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School, where he excelled as an athlete in swimming, soccer, football and track, earning 11 letters and broke 5 school records in swimming. In his senior year, he received the Erin Johnson Award given by the Altoona Mirror. Tristin attended Marymount University and was currently employed by Rae-lyn Enterprises of Altoona. He was a member of the Patton Fire Company #1; for three years he was on the DCNR Out of State Forest Fire Crew and fought wildland fires in Alaska, California and Idaho. He was a member of Central District Fireman’s Association and a member of numerous clubs in Patton and elsewhere. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, to be announced. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Patton.
