My name is Lois fogle and 40 or so yrs ago I was coming home from a home interior show. I was coming from Clearfield and it was pouring rain. Just as I got to the Y at Rt 36 coming into Patton my tire blew out. I was single mother and my daughter was with me. I pulled over and opened my tailgate. I had all my display boards n merchandise in there and as I'm trying to get stuff moved in the rain. Car after car passed by me. I had a dress on. Just as I got stuff moved n got the tire out ..now I'm drenched yet not one car stopped to help. This was before cell phone for me. Suddenly a truck pulled off behind me and I saw it was Tom..he got his wheelchair out wheeled over to my car and got OUT of his wheelchair sitting on the ground in the muck and mud and changed my tire!!!! I might have been able to get it done but I know God sent Tom to help me when no one else would stop...months later in the winter I was going to chest springs and Tom was stuck in a snow bank.. I had my son stay w him and I went to my brother in chest springs and he came and together we pulled Tom out.. God has blessed me knowing Tom such a kind generous man. It was a privilege to know him and his family...may God bless you all.
