Theresa M. Hoover, 60, Johnstown, formerly of Patton, passed away December 21, 2023 at Hilltop Heights Health and Rehab Center. She was born September 26, 1963 in Spangler, the daughter of Homer J. and Mary E. (Warfield) Hoover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Evelyn; grandparents, Herman and Elizabeth (Natcher) Hoover and Edwin and Caroline (McConnell) Warfield. She is survived by brothers and sisters: Carolyn (Gene) Gathagan, Virginia Beach; Linda Hoover, Patton; Leona Hoover, Altoona; Gerald (Jes) Hoover, Patton; Bonita (Lee) Workman, Northern Cambria; Kenneth Hoover, Patton; niece, Elizabeth Gathagan, Virginia Beach; nephew, Edward (Jenny) Gathagan; great nieces Luisa and Daniela, Virginia Beach. She has lots of cousins and Aunts, Delores Hetrick, Louise Fresch, Wanda Hoover and Patty Lidwell. Theresa liked watching wrestling, crossword puzzles, country music and Facebook. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 North Fifth Avenue Patton. Funeral Mass 11 am Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers. Committal St. Augustine Cemetery.
