Ruth V. Urbain, 96, formerly of Patton passed way October 26, 2022 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. She was born June 28, 1926 in Bakerton, the daughter of Edward and Matilda (Dongell) Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Urbain and brother Lou Price. She is survived by children: Cathy (Richard) White, Patton; Edward (Debbie) Urbain, NC; Debbie Farabaugh (John Caylor), Loretto; Frank Urbain (Kathy Lamont), Patton; Susan (Patrick) Burkey, Patton; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; step-brother Thomas Price and sister-in-law Millie Price. In her younger years, she worked at the family business Dongells Market in Bakerton and Warfield’s Market, Patton for many years. Ruth was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Patton, where she played the organ for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
