Obituary For Mary J. Duclo
Mary Jo Duclo, 83, Patton, passed away March 18, 2025 at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1941 in Braddock, PA the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Whalen) Dunegan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James F. Duclo; sons Jamie Duclo and Joseph “Maverick” Duclo; sibling James, Donald, Ronald Dunegan, Patricia Lucas and sister-in-law Rita Duclo. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Dave) Sears, Patton; daughter-in-law Linda Duclo; grandchildren Joan Lynn (Matt) Quinn, Aaron David Koontz, Alana Rose Sears; great grandchildren Bennett Matthew Quinn and William James Quinn sister Judith Gonzoles, Fort Collins, CO; sister-in-law Marian Dunegan; nieces and nephews Timothy Dunegan, William Lucas, Richard Lucas and John Lucas. Mary Jo was a 1960 graduate of Patton High School and was employed at Patton Shirt Factory and later the Barnesboro Shirt Factory for 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton where she volunteered at the Golden Rule Pre School, Legion of Mary, was an avid Bingo player, loved scratch off tickets and was very proud of her Irish heritage. Family and friends will be received from 10 am until 11:45 am Tuesday April 1,2025 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 N. Fifth Ave. Patton followed by a funeral Mass at 12 pm at Queen of Peace Church, Patton. Father Ananias celebrant. Committal, St Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.
