Obituary For Marlene Ann Price
Marlene Ann Price, 73, Crowley, TX, formerly of Patton passed away October 28, 2020 at home. She was born February 25, 1947 in Colver, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Bobick) Gresko. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was the loving wife of Thomas Price, whom she married October 7, 1972 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Patton; loving mother of Gretchen Marie wife of Jon Shub, The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren Jack Thomas and Henry Charles; sisters Elizabeth Marie (Paul) Cihan, Patton; Mary Anne Fisanick (Ed Leonard), Patton and niece Brandy Cihan (Pete) Evans, Florida. She was a graduate of Mount Aloysius College, St. Francis University and Indiana University of PA. She was formerly employed as an elementary school teacher at St. Benedict Elementary school, Carrolltown and retired from Cambria Heights School District as an elementary school teacher after forty years of service. Marlene was a member of St. Francis Village Catholic Chapel, former member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton and Altoona-Johnstown Cursillo as well as a former Girl Scout and Leader along with C.C.D. teacher and Director. She loved her faith, children, teaching, music, animals, her childhood and lifelong friend Janet (Young) Newcamp and all her dear friends and especially being Buba to Jack and Henry. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 North Fifth Avenue Patton. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton by Rev. Vincent Yeager, TOR. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton. Memorial donations can be made to Saint Jude’s Hospital or Queen of Peace Church, Patton.
