Laura Lynn Speight, 59, Patton, formerly of Tacoma, WA passed away February 11, 2023 at her home in Patton, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 16, 1963 in Logansport, Indiana, the daughter of William and Lenawee “Laura” (Lahr) Midgett. She was preceded in death by her father and niece Pebbles. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Russell Speight, whom she married August 24, 2002; daughter, Mariah (Dustin) Dietrick, Hastings; grandchildren: Mikey, Evelynn and Caleb; sisters: Linda, Trina and Pam; niece and nephews, Ana, Chris and Geofrey. She was employed as a manager and trainer for the Internal Revenue Service. Laura enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and do it yourself projects. At Laura’s request there will be no viewing or services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Great Pyrenees Club of Western PA Rescue. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Patton.
