Wow! Shocker for me to hear of his passing. Played basketball with him almost everyday in summer at 2nd ward. We would drive to Saint Francis together at times. Watching him handle his disabilities helped me on my own. My condolences to his family and friends. I was hoping to see him at high school reunion.

Ken was also a gifted artist. He drew a picture of a duck flying over a swamp that my wife's uncle transformed into a stained glass window for my front door. Beautiful! Ever time I look at the door I think of Ken. Rest in Peace Ken.

I'm going to miss the big guy. Growing up with Fare taught me that it's only a disability if you let it become one. We played all kind of sports together and got trouble together and you couldn't ask for a more loyal friend. I'm going to miss his smiling face, you know that smile he used that made you think he knew something you didn't. God speed buddy. Joe Lacue
