Obituary For Glenn W. Winslow

Glenn W. Winslow, 67, Patton passed away September 3, 2022 at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, Hastings. He was born September 15, 1954 in Spangler, the son of Russell K. and Nevada J. (Lenglet) Winslow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Brian and Scott Winslow and a sister in infancy. He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen V. (McCarty) Winslow, whom he married June 29, 1985; children: Travis (Megan) Winslow, Patton; Dominique “Nikki” Winslow, Boston, Mass.; Glenn (Brittany) Winslow II, Patton; grandchildren: Stella, Willa and Quinn Marie Winslow; brothers: Kenneth (Rosemary) Winslow, Patton; Rusty (Sherri) Winslow, Patton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School, a graduate of Pitt University Optical and an Alumni of Penn State. Glenn was previously employed with Lithcote Railroad and retired from PennDot as an equipment operator after many years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Patton Fire Company, where he was previously Assistant Chief, Patton VFW, Slovak Club and Sons and Daughters of Italy. Glenn coached baseball, football, wrestling and was an avid lover of sports. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Family and Friends will be received 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 North Fifth Avenue Patton. Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Committal Fairview Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Patton Fire Company PO Box 243 Patton, Pa 16668.     Kathy So sorry for your loss I remember you in my chemistry class at Penn Cambria and my husband Ray was best friends with Glenn in elementary school I remember him on the wrestling team in high school.
