Obituary For Ethel M. Kimack
Ethel M. Kimack, 90, Patton, passed away August 25, 2022 at Arotin’s Hummingbird Estates, Patton. She was born March 1, 1932 in Patton, the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Yeckley) Callahan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Michael D. Kimack, daughter, Joan Sybert; brothers and sisters: Charles (Mary) Callahan, Viola (Andy) Kosto, Theresa (Ray) Sutton, Norbert ( Dorothy) Callahan, John Earl Callahan, Francis (Peg) Callahan, Bob Callahan, Harold Callahan, Edgar (Marie) Callahan. She is survived by children: Debra (Kimack) Salisbury, Michael P. (Victor Blanco) Kimack, Kim Kvitkovich; grandchildren: Amanda (Zack) Hill, Mark Kvitkovich, Jeremy (Rosana) Kimack; great grandson Weston Hill; sister Colleen (Barry Molyneaux) McQuillen and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel married Michael D. Kimack on June 13, 1953 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Patton. She was employed in her early years as a supervisor of the Patton Shirt Factory and later at Laurel Crest Manor. She, for several years, served as Judge of Elections for Cambria County, was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of America and ICBU. Ethel was active in church activities, participated in the many activities at the Patton Senior Center, belonged to a card club for over 30 years and was known for her many travels throughout Europe, South America and Asia. Ethel was a very loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her family and many close friends. Family and friends will be received 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 North Fifth Avenue Patton, Pa 16668, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Tuesday, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.
