Elizabeth J. “Betty” Duclos, 95, of Patton, passed away Tuesday morning at St. Benedict Manor. She was born in Patton, the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Hammar) Dubyak.

Betty married Cyril E. “Duke” Duclos on September 12, 1953, he preceded her in death on February 22, 2009, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Blick.

She is survived by her son, Dr. John E. Duclos; her daughter, Jeane R. Duclos and son-in-law, Ken Blick all of Patton; her grandson, Michael Lacey and several great-grandchildren, whom all lovingly referred to her as “Bub”. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty was the last of the immediate Dubyak family.She was a graduate of Patton High School. Betty took pride in being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday, October 2, 2026 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 907 6th Avenue, Patton, PA 16668, with Fr. Ananias O.S.B., celebrant.

Committal will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at St. Benedict Manor and 365 Hospice for the care they gave Betty.
