Elizabeth J. “Betty” Berish, 93, Patton, passed away October 13, 2020 at the Communities at Indiana Haven, Indiana. She was born April 24, 1927, in Brucetown, Pa, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Miscosky) Noakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Berish, son Frederick John, brothers Johh, Fred Jr., William and sister Janet McGrosky. She is survived by children: Mary Earnest, Altoona; Janet Gisler, Galeton, Pa; George Berish, Jr., Ashdown, Ark.; Susan (Dave) Raab, Cincinnati, Oh; Barbara Berish, Gallitzin; John (Judy) Berish, Patton; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; sister Mary Ann Tkach, Library, Pa and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
