Obituary For Dolores M. Stasko

Dolores M. Stasko, 96, Patton, passed away May 18, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 18, 1927 in St. Boniface, the daughter of Gilbert and Madge (McCoy) Weakland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. “JR” Stasko, Sr; son, Michael J. Stasko, Jr.; great grandson, Devin Mislevy; sisters, Louise, Juanita, Anna Mae, Nancy and brother, Gilbert. She is survived by her daughter, Bunny (Richard) Mislevy, Patton; grandchildren: Mike (Sandy) Stasko; Bill (Amy) Stasko; Scott (Robin) Mislevy; Lisa (Darin) Link; great grandchildren: Zach, Maddy, Brynn, Nathan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She spent her life as a loving wife, mother, granny and great granny. Dolores was member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time at the Patton Senior Center. At Dolores’s request, there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Monday at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, by Rev. Richard Davis, TOR. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dvorchak and Grane Hospice for their wonderful care of Dolores. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Patton.
