Obituary For Denise M. Paronish

Denise M. Paronish, 71, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Patton, passed away July 23, 2024 at home. She was born December 6, 1952 in Spangler, the daughter of Clement and Alberta (Kielbowick) Holtz. She was preceded in death by her father and first husband, Michael Weakland. In addition to her mother, she survived by her husband, Nicholas Paronish; children: Michael Weakland; Michelle Lee; Brenda Riva; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters, Donna (Pete) Kashuk; Dianne Litzinger and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired as a clerk from Walmart after several years of service. She was a member of New Germany Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts. Family and friends will be received 3:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 North Fifth Avenue Patton, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Monday, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers. Committal St. Lawrence Cemetery, Patton.     I am sad to hear about Denise.. I remember staying with her overnight as young girl and had to have a zipper cut to get out of a dress I was trying on. I will never forget our laughter. Hope to see her again one day.
