Obituary For Carl T. Falatek, Sr.

Carl T. Falatek, Sr., 70, Patton, passed away August 15, 2022 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born July 15, 1952 in Mckeesport, Pa, the son of Alfred and Patricia (Minnock) Falatek. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother in law, Harold and Bertha Schirf Merriman and stepmother Mary Ross. He is survived by his loving wife Jean (Merriman) Falatek, whom he married October 18, 1980; children: Patience Falatek, Fallbrook, CA; Carl (Natalie) Falatek, Jr., Halifax, Pa; Damien (Bre) Falatek, Northern Cambria; grandchildren: Camden, Carlie, Emerson and Levi; sister: Patricia Stetz, several stepbrothers, stepsisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and served the community as a general Dentist since 1978. Carl was a book of knowledge on sports, history and politics and was an avid coin collector. He was a big fan of Classical music, cooking, grilling, internet memes and loved his “fur babies”, Abner and Lace. At. Carl’s request there will be no viewing or services. A celebration of his life “Potluck” will be held at Root-Hovett Hall, Patton from 1:00 – 5:00 pm this Saturday, August 20, 2022. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Patton.
