Paula and family There are no words to console you for your terrible loss. Bernie always had a smile on his face. When he joined Ray, my grandmother, and me on a trip to FL to visit my other grandmother, he was so nice to both of them. My grandmother told him, "Bernie, if I was 50 years younger I'd be chasing after you!" A great athlete: wrestling at Bishop Carroll, 3rd baseman for Sully's and Corner Diner, and football for the Fix It Shop. His blue eyes will be missed. ColeenTrexler

Paula, Aimee, Alex, Bobby, and family, we are so very saddened to learn of Bernie's passing. He was a part of our lives for such a long time and looking back we have so many memories. I'll never forget when he'd arrive home from work and the kids were playing, he'd be in the kitchen making jokes. His blue eyes were always bright, even after a long day at work. He certainly smiled with them, and I'll always remember the twinkle he had in them for his family. You are all thought of with love today. May your loving memories bring you comfort and peace. Jeannette and Jed
