Obituary For Annette M. Blick

Annette M. Blick, 68, Patton, passed away February 21, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 2, 1956 in Spangler, the daughter of Cyril E. “Duke” and Elizabeth “Betty” (Dubyak) Duclos. She was preceded in death by her father Cyril, whom passed away February 22, 2009. She is survived by her mother; her devoted husband, Kenneth Blick, whom she married May 8, 1978; she was a loving and devoted sister to her brother, Dr. John E. Duclos; sister, Jeane R. Duclos, all of Patton; beloved aunt to Michael T. Lacey and to her great niece, Kallista and great nephews Michael E., Gavin and Colt. Annette was a 1973 graduate of Cambria Heights High School and a 1976 graduate of Altoona School of Nursing. She retired as a RN from the Ebensburg Center after many years of dedicated service. She was a member Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton where she assisted with the church finances. Her religion was a very important part of her life. She enjoyed the friendships she created. Annette was a true animal lover, who owned many beautiful dogs over the years. She was a kind and generous soul. Her smile brightened any room she entered. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. A private viewing for the family will be held. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA of your choice in her name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Randy and Linda Blick for all their help caring for Annette. May you be comforted during this difficult time I will miss Annette greatly, she had a beautiful smile that matched her personality She was my "summer sister" when we were growing up, She will always be in my thoughts and prayers From her loving cousin Karen and husband Thaddeus
