Karen was a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. She retired from her dream job at DCNR – Prince Gallitzin State Park where she worked outdoors surrounded by nature. She adored her grandchildren and shared her love for nature with them at Glendale making many beautiful memories. Karen found such joy in spending countless hours feeding and watching birds, especially hummingbirds. She was amazingly artistic, enjoyed music and was a fierce volleyball player in her younger years. Karen was always there to lend an ear or give one of her special hugs. She was a truly beautiful woman inside and out. Karen’s children would like to send a special thank you to Deborah Hauzie and Bill Foster for being such loving caregivers to Karen. Memorials are requested to ASPCA of which Karen was a member. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, there will be a celebration of Karen’s life at a later date.
